I directed and produced The AI Effect, a flagship four-part series exploring the transformative power of artificial intelligence across HR, Earth Observation, Finance, and Sport. A high-profile collaboration between WIRED and IBM, the series features deep-dive interviews with IBM’s leading subject matter experts, who provided the authoritative technical backbone for each episode.
Working closely with Art Director David Godfrey and the Condé Nast commercial creative team, I developed a visual language designed to mirror WIRED’s iconic, bold aesthetic. To make complex technical concepts accessible, we utilised a high-concept multimedia approach with the animations. These sequences transitioned seamlessly between 2D & 3D illustrative styles to create a rich, textured narrative.
My production company facilitated the entire lifecycle of the project, from initial creative development and expert consultation through to final post-production and delivery, ensuring a cohesive vision across all four global industry themes.
All assets fed into a centralised Hub on the WIRED website with the main videos being hosted on their YouTube channel.
Here are some of my favourite animation sequences from the series.
